About a year or so ago I was supposed to send someone a Hunahpu, Splinter Black, and other assorted beers for a Town Hall growler. I got the labels mixed up and he ended up opening a box with a 750 Blaeber, Chocolate Rain 1st Bottling, and Kaggen! Stormaktsporter.

He wrote me saying they were the best extras ever :grinning:

Jesus, never, I get tense with normal shipments, and make sure I got it right, but I've only had to send out multiples 2-3X.

Names removed to protect the innocent.
Received an offer from a long-time trading partner. He wanted Beer X of mine and offered to send BCBS Cherry Rye, Cantillon Classic, and Hill Farmstead Birth of Tragedy. Without hesitation, I agreed to ship sometime after the holiday madness and he agreed to do the same (we've traded with one another a dozen+ times, so communication is very trustworthy/casual). He said he had some other boxes going out earlier than anticipated and was happy to ship early. I received his box yesterday. It included a used pillow, random pieces of cardboard, strips of bubble wrap, bunched up newspapers, and one can of Heady Topper.

All will be resolved, and both parties will get all agreed-upon beers (plus I get an extra can of Heady Topper!). A simple case of affixing the right label to the wrong box. We both had a good laugh! Gotta love the holidays! Happy New Year's, everyone!

Was the can full or empty?

Full. I'll probably drink it tomorrow during the NFL playoffs.

Received a box not too long ago that was meant for someone else and alerted the sender. Really wish I hadn't corrected the error, as the box originally meant for me showed even less thought than the the sender had put into sending. Oh well, it was still the right thing to do.

I'd drink that heady topper right out of the can, and then hump that dirty pillow.

While resting your head on the used pillow?

I never sent a wrong box, but did receive one. I trade with a very generous ba regularly, we just send each other stuff we like from time to time. So I get a box from him, wasnt expecting it, but figured he was sending me a box. It had some of the stuff I like, but some stuff I don't like so I was a bit suspicious. I let him know I got the box and it turns out he sent it to me by mistake. I closed it up and sent it to the person who was supposed to get it. There was some nice Alpine stuff, I should have let one bottle accidentally fall out of the box !

I do this on purpose every few trades just to mess with people.

Hope you'll mistakenly send me your box of SNR 2010 from Belgium  Wait, we need to discuss some trade first.

I try not to drink too much when packing lol. I like to pack one box at a time and the moment its ready I write down the fellow BA's info on the box. I regularly send 2-3 boxes out at a time and haven't had a mix up yet.
