Now that hits the spot. Clean, crisp, nothing off about it, slight lemon grass note, fresh sour dough bread. Really good

    Ha! Perfect.

Q: With how many degrees of cooling is MHL optimally consumed?
    A: All of them.

    Cheers!

It's great to see your endorsement here.

I picked that one up a few weeks ago and haven't cracked it yet. Soon...

    Cheers!

"Proper glassware" for this one. Hard to make out the axe, but it's there.

That beer is pretty awesome as i believe most experienced palates can "get it"! Need to get some more in the rotation after my move next month...
Round one today is a lovely Wheatwine from Jackie O's, sourced from the brewery about a year ago. This is really well done!
Listening to Sirius per the usual...
    Cheers!

Holy cow, I just got power back after that huge storm we had last Thursday...an entire week without power...in Houston, at the end of May...this was not a fun week. My pupper, Moe and I were over heating.

Back now, with some Art Pepper and Saint Arnold H-Town Pils.

@RaulMondesi I was just in San Diego last week, and it definitely did not look so foreboding! :grinning:

    1) Jever Pilsener (4.9%):
An authentic German Pils with flavors of floral hops, lemon citrus, Munich malt flavors. Clean.
    versus
    2) Ayinger Bairisch Pils (5.2%): An authentic German Pilsner with flavors of floral hops, earthy Munich bread malt, yeast. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Jever:
German Pilsner Battle. First is Jever. Has quickly become one of my favorites for the flavors and balance here.
Next is Ayinger. Drinks slightly heavier and more bready. More of an earthy yeast and malt focused I think. Many might disagree, but I'll pick Jever between the two here.

Trying a N/A beer for the first time. Friend gave me a can a few months ago. Look and nose is good, and the flavor is tasty but i cannot get past the watery nature of this brew. With all that criticism, this is still well made to get some flavor out of water.
    Cheers!

SO jealous that you get Jever in cans where you live. I've only ever seen it in 3 year old green bottles in my area, but I'm dying to try that one.
