I definitely am. I consider the brewer Brad Clark, a good friend, and a brewing master.
I’ve had ~95% of the beers he’s released.

There’s definitely a few members on this site.
Was there a question to members?
Interestingly that beer was a collab with a cider brewer and and a whiskey producer for the barrel-aging. All 3 of them are doing an event together in SF this Saturday at Holy Water.

I think at this point it’s kind of an “if you know you know” situation.
I’m kind of done trying to put the word out or change anyone’s mind.

Essentially just the newer ones that I have bottles I haven’t opened yet.
    And a few older collabs.

Id love to hear a general reflection on how this whole model has worked out for you so far? It's a cool concept to me and I guess I'm just curious how it's worked out both from a marketing/sales perspective as well as from the perspective of the barrel room and building up your barrel stock (especially extended age barrels)

I'm in a very active member of a Los Angeles based share group. PP has always had a great reputation in the group, for good reason. Becoming a member has taken it to a new level for me. Instead of a 2oz pour at a share, with a compromised palate. I now can open a bottle to share with my wife, on a clean palate, and enjoy it as it develops from first pour to the last.

PP has quickly become my favorite membership.

I've only had a few Private Press beers, all acquired via trade, plus the Side Project collab Maple in the Wood. I'll say that Electric Roads is one of the finest barleywines I've ever enjoyed. The others were all exceptional as well, and nothing approached cloyingly or sugary sweet territory. I don't trade much these days, so I do regret that I didn't pull the trigger and become a PP member when I had the chance last enrollment period. I will not make the same mistake next time, should I be given the opportunity again.

I have been really pleased with this business model so far. There have been plenty of challenges and set backs over the past 5 years, but my goal to create a business that I run and it doesn’t run me has worked. Being able to focus on a few styles has been incredibly rewarding from a personal perspective. I am more engaged with brewing than I have ever been in my 18 yr career.

That's awesome to hear! I enjoyed the barrel aged stuff that you put out back in Ohio and I'm definitely looking forward to an opportunity to try your current work. And serious congratulations on building your dream, that's always inspirational to see.

goddamn these cellar sales are tempting. I always get to checkout and am like, "am I really going to buy a bunch of bottles of beer at 50 bucks a piece?". Then I close the tab. gotta have some self control.

Gonna be in Santa Cruz in about a month. I've gotten a PP bottle at Sante before, but did PP open a tap room or something like a tap room? Thought I read about that semi recently.

Toronado usually has their stuff on tap.
Go there and try some on tap first before you hate yourself or love yourselc for the decision

    @2Row

I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve had the opportunity to try. At the moment, I have become mildly obsessed with the Fourth Press after encountering it at the Toronado.
Pssst. Fourth Press is on right now AND IT IS ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT. Who said there’s no more WOW beers?
