    Hmm Idk, had their Helles before again and it just doesn't taste like a Zwickel. More than drinkable but nothing special

    That head looks pristine -- very much like kräusened carbonation.

    Yep. Probably 1 more degree would've been enough for the glass to slide. Today is holiday in the catholic states of Germany so it's very overcrowded here..

    Did you like the Zirndorfer? I had it in the spring of 2023 (at a tavern in Starnberg) and thought it was a good Kellerbier.

    Did you have a Reh Bier? My friends have high regard for it, but I've not tried it.

    Zirndorfer was good but it had a slight mineral/metallic taste in the end.

    Haven't had Reh beer but they are on my list for today as well as Zeltner and Mager

    Zeltner Spezial. Simple but very good. Interesting, sweet bready malt base and a little bit citrus/lemon. Really good beer!

    Lindenbräu Helles.
    One of those "modern" Helles with a sweet and fruity hop character. Good beer I prefer the traditional, oldschool hops

    Just to double check, a "modern" Helles is a beer using new(er) variety of hops?

    Do you happen to know which hops were used to brew Lindenbräu Helles?

    I had the same question but unfortunately it was "only" a bartender that knows nothing than serving beers..

    Really sad atmosphere today. Rainy, muddy and uncomfortable. I love rain and this type of bad weather but not at a beer fest.
    Probably a huge loss for the breweries today

    I'd go again but I doubt we'll go to Germany again at that time of year. Unless more places add A/C.

    Yes! I had so many good beers and I also met really nice people.
    Worst thing was the weather from thursday evening to the whole friday...
