Good point sir. But I wanted the pun. Nothing compares to Heady. Plenty of amazing beers and we all know them. But Heady? La crème de la crème de la crème.

    1) Utepils Pils (5.0%): A Czech Pils from Minnesota with flavors of pale malts, yeast, earthy crackery notes. Clean.
    versus
    2) Venn Pils (5.6%): A Czech Pils from Minnesota with flavors of German Pilsner malt, bread, some lemon hop flavors with a dry yeast. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Utepils Pils:
Czech Pils Battle. First is Utepils Pils. Light, clean and drinkable here. Standard Czech Pils without any frills.
Next is Venn Pils. Similar, but larger and sweeter. Carries a bit more lemon citrus notes. Also nicely done. Usually I prefer Venn Pils, but today the crispness and clean Utepils is hitting the spot.

The Rockies do suck, but the White Sox really suck. Go Rockies - Go White Sox. Cheers to my two favorite MLB teams.

    1) Drekker Underwater Ally (8.1% canned 5/6/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Mosaic, Citra, and Ella for flavors of tropical grapefruit, pineapple, notes of mango.
    versus
    2) Drekker Never Have I Ever (8.0% canned 5/29/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Mosaic, Simcoe, Azacca for flavors of orange creamsicle, tangerine, smooth peach notes. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Drekker Underwater Ally:
Drekker IPA Battle. First is Underwater Ally. Nice citrusy notes. Orange, pineapple, some mango notes as well. Citra, Mosaic, and a bit of Ella create standard but complex flavors. Very rounded and enjoyable.
Next is Never Have I Ever. First review on this one. Mosaic, Simcoe, Azacca. Slightly more traditional hops. Lots of orange, tangerine, peach cream here. The Simcoe and Azacca probably create some of the creamy orange and peach flavor. Mildly sweet and smooth. A bit sweet and I'm personally not a fan of the peach hop flavors as much.
Both are good, but Underwater Ally is much better in my opinion.
