Miller has been brewing Pabst, Blatz, Old Milwaukee, and Old Style for a long time.

Old Style is supposed to be moving back to the old G. Heileman Brewery in La Crosse later this year. I`ve been doing a little searching, but I can`t find any definite dates as to when, And are Pabst, Blatz, and Old Milwaukee all going along with Old Style to G. Heileman in La Crosse, Wisconsin? Does anyone here know?

Old Style has been brewed in La Crosse for most of this year at least.

I bought a six pack of pounders (16oz) at the end of February for my younger brother for a family get-together and I still have a can:

Not necessarily brewed in La Crosse. A helpful website
    https://www.bluelabelpackaging.com/...nts-8-elements-you-need-on-craft-beer-labels/
says " . . . domestic products should include either the city and state where your malt beverage is bottled or packed or a principal place of business." This suggests that the beer could be made elsewhere. I believe Yuengling only lists its Pottsville location, even though almost all of its beer is brewed elsewhere.

Sure, I have no inside knowledge either way, but I do know the cans used to say 'Milwaukee, WI' when it was brewed there as I bought Old Style before the announced home-coming. So color me skeptical that it's still brewed in Milwaukee or elsewhere without the can saying so.

At the time Pabst used Milwaukee as location, it didn't have an interest in City Brewing. They probably have an office at City that forwards the mail to the home office, whereever that is. The transition of the brewing depends on whether contracts need to be fulfilled with MolsonCoors or some modifications need to be made at La Crosse. It could well be true that Old Style is being made in La Crosse but the can label doesn't guarantee it. It could also be made at other City breweries if there was demand in other parts of the country.

Pabst has TTB label approvals for most of their brands being brewed at City Brewing Co. locations (La Crosse, Latrobe, Memphis & Irwindale).
TTB label approvals list the actual brewery(ies) which can use the label. In the case of Old Style, it is good for all 4 City breweries.
I'd imagine they'd do that for many of their brands, even if there are no initial plans to brew the beer in all their breweries, rather than the one(s) closest to the brand's original marketing region - which is usually the one(s) they've chosen to list on the label.

Still haven't seen a Ballantine Ale labeled as being brewed at a City facility - but it's apparently coming. [IMG]

"Almost all" might be pushing it. Both the Pennsylvania Yuengling breweries' mail addresses are Pottsville-based, according to the TTB's licenses.
Yeah, lots of Yuengling beer coming out of Tampa and now Molson Coors' Ft. Worth, TX brewery, maybe even the majority of their barrelage - but doubt it's "almost all" (vague as that actual percentage might be  ).

Coincidentally, 18th July has been proclaimed "Old Stye Day" by the Mayor of La Crosse.

"We are proud and excited to see Old Style once again getting brewed in La Crosse and I am pleased to declare July 18th as Old Style Day and encourage the community to join in on the celebration."

One more snippet from the article you shared:

    "About Old Style
Old Style Beer, with a history dating back to 1902, was initially launched by G. Heileman's Brewery in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The production moved to Milwaukee for the last two decades before returning to La Crosse in November 2023

A thread about where Old Style is brewed. We truly have fallen from grace.

Have you seen the "Hamm's Appreciation" thread, and the parade of ugly Hamm's can photos? That is how far you could fall.. I'm sure neither Hamms or Old Style tastes anything like they did in the "old days". (I wasn't a big fan of either one though.)

Or is this the pinnacle of snobbery where only LaCrosse brewed Old Style is permissible?

I seem to have some affectionate memories of Old Style-- but maybe it was just better than some of the many similar lagers in the 70s. In Chicago in the 70s there must have been an Old Style sign on every neighborhood corner bar.

There were Chicago Old Style signs for every ethnicity: Zimne Pivo, Kolodne Pivo (UKR), "Show your Style", "latas y Botelas".

Back when Budweiser label listed all their breweries and specified which brewery the particular bottle or can came from (Ex. below, from their L.A. brewery):
...two guys I worked with had two quart bottles of Bud every lunch period. (I think there were also pint bottles of Ripple involved and it might have also happened during our two break periods). It was not good for me, since I had to pick up and repair their mistakes but that's not the point.

One day they were all excited. For whatever reason, the bar across the street was stocked with St. Louis brewed Budweiser quarts - real Budweiser! Not the facsimile brewed just 30 miles away, on US Highway 1 and across from the Newark Airport and the NJ Turnpike. SAINT F*CKIN' LOUIS BUDWEISER!

Even just two quarts of lower strength beer at lunch must surely have impacted their productivity.

    Times sure have changed!

I'm pretty sure it was also 2 on the first break, 2/lunch, and then 2 more on the night break on a 10 hour shift. 50 years on, I can still picture him kinda swaying in the aisle, his bottom lip extended from a big dip of snuff. "Hey, man, I got this one, just stay there..." (Easier to fix a small problem than the bigger one he might turn it into).
Yes, progress - but, ya know, sometimes I think that somehow we've lost something, too.
(Was it a good "something" - no, but it was fun.)
The common wisdom (if such a trait could be attributed to those 60s stoners) was that wine, especially sweet pop wine, paired with grass better than beer. Why, even the brewers (along with the Catholic Church - go figure) were concerned about it.
