    Maximus and Little Sumpin Sumpin used to be found literally anywhere in France up until a year ago, along with SNPA or IPA Hop Hunter on the shelves of major supermarkets chain. Alas!

    I do miss them, love what I can’t have (anymore) so easily, no idea what happened re distribution because they certainly were quite a hit here too, each of them.

    Poured a clear, dark amber color; decent carbonation; fairly thin, bone-white head. Very pleasant aroma; malty with a gentle, earthy spiciness. Excellent taste; malty with a delicate, earthy spiciness; light hop bitterness. Medium mouthfeel; crisp.

    It has been ages since I last had a Full Sail beer. I still like this amber although my ratings reflect a slight downturn in some areas (score-wise). Still a solid beer, satisfying and easy drinking.

    Big, big white head on the pour (three fingers) with lots of staying power. Crystal clear, reddish hue to the body. Lots of fine carbonation bubbles.

    Sweet grass, light malt character reinforcing the scent. A faint hint of fruity esters.

    Light biscuit malt and unsalted cracker taste initially. Bitterness starts soft and mild and finishes delightfully sharp.

    Body feel primarily light. Crisp and clean.

    An interesting amber, perhaps a bit lighter in taste and body than I would anticipate, yet very satisfying overall. Well-balanced and very drinkable.

    Oh. I've had Aass in the past. This particular style of Aass Pilsner is a delight esp after the preposterously empty, deep space anemic tasting fizz that I just had. But now, with the 10pk of cans, Aass can be strapped to your bike rack. (insert drum hit) <> Anyways, I enjoy their beers and I also have some Aass Light awaiting. Chairs! :beers:

    Windmill Giant's Requiem (A blend of 3, 2, and 1 year imperial stouts). They took all of their barrels and blended them since they're now closed. Did an impromptu release this past weekend. Their barrel program was vastly underrated and this is just goes to show that. Pure barrel juice. A great send-off for a great brewery!
