We’re down there sometimes. Live in Portsmouth but our cottage is off long sands in York. Surf the points around Rye though.

$45 is tough. Wish it wasn't a 750 also. I wish they would have a steady stream of straight up barrel aged stout to be released. Doesn't have to be "Special" like Truth, but like a "lower tier" BBA stout for like $10 - $15 per bottle would be fine

It’s the 750 for me. In my experience, they drink ok over 1-2 weeks after opened, but even that is too much BA Stout. If

I'm at the point where if I want the taste of bourbon, I'll just have straight bourbon. I find it way more satisfying than drinking syrupy, overly sweet, stout. Unfortunately, or not, that's become a nightly occasion.

Great pics. My first time there was in Charlton in Oct of 2017. It was a Tuesday and I got there around noon and there were already 200-300 people in line. Took about 2 hours to get cans, but I had a great time in the beautiful fall weather talking with fellow beer nerds.

Haha yeah those were some good days. I know I have the Brimfield photos stored somewhere and will try to find them. Signed into untapped for the first time in like 8 years and found my check in of curiosity 5.

I went down there in 2016 or 2017 on a Saturday morning on my way to play a gig in NYC. I got my cans, and just before I was checking out they announced that they were going to start doing pours of Alter Ego. It was so fucking cool to be able to drink a TH beer on tap. Now I take it for granted.

My first (and so far only) experience at TH was in July 2017. Just weeks, if my memory serves, after Charlton opened up. A couple buddies and I were on a New England trip and we stopped in on the first day to get full allotments of Green and Haze. It was about 4PM on a Friday and we'd been in line for about 5-10 minutes when rumblings started coming from the front of the line that they'd just opened ticket sales for draft pours. We couldn't have possibly been more excited. We each got our full allotments and a draft ticket and got to enjoy a pour on the patio.

We're redoing the trip at the end of September. I feel like a little bit of the magic will be gone, not having to wonder if we'll be there at the right time to get whatever cans are available. The sheer volume of options, ease of getting takeaway/draft and multiple locations should more than make up for it.

You could walk out with one four/6 pack of the 84 different beers offered and take home somewhere in the realm of 360 cans.

if you bought multiple four packs you could easily hit 1000

No one, on earth, ever saw that coming way back

Curiosity 5 kicked at my first visit. It may have been the first weekend they were open in Monson?

Played the Treehouse golf course for the first time this morning. Pace was good at two hours. Course is generally in good shape, though a little rough around the edges (fairway divots, ball marks, etc.), a few bald spots on fairways, rough cuts around bunkers, etc. And the greens were on the slow side. Definitely worth the money at $30 walking and you’re hard pressed to find a better “turn” shack between 5 and 7 tee or 10th hole spot with the massive beer hall and pizza parlor.

that's sorta what I was alluding to. I think it was "the bridge beer". I never went to Brimfield but remember being mesmerized by the whole process the first time I went to Monson. Dean was there, he said Curiousity 5 was running low and would kick before most in line got their fills so he told people to put a back up pick on their order sheet.

Seems fitting tonight. Honestly, as much as I don’t love surfing in the Olympics. The Olympics are pretty fng awesome. Reminds me of being a kid with my parents watching. Cant knock it
