    Greetings BA! Thanks, @SawDog505, for starting today's thread! Looks like another pleasant day, so I'm off to the local farmers' market followed by humping the boonies via the local bike trail - that way if I have an MI, they might find my corpse before the coyotes drag me into the brush.

    I looked at my review, actually just to confirm that I had reviewed it, and found it needed updating. Miskatonic brewers have Seldom as their side project and first released Belobog a year ago, or so. I reviewed a can from the first release.
    Luckily I looked, because I have been enjoying it more recently. In my original review I noted a slight diacatyl influence and that has been eliminated, thankly.
    Even with that, I thought it was easily drinkable.
    Now it is crushable, which is what I had been doing the last few months.
    Feel free to revisit your old reviews, especially on new releases.

    Good morning BAs! I took the last 3 days off from drinking to reset…left the house at 7:30am (62°) and walked off the hill to downtown South Charleston, and got in my steps (urban walking)…home now and polishing off Deth By Cherries (2023) that I bought as a 4pk last Sunday at the brewery in Chicago:

    Canned 9/27/23. Poured at 58°. Lots of tart cherries. Wish it had more bourbon. I like cherries so I like this 14.3% impy stout, but I wish there was more bourbon.

    I’m painting the upstairs bathroom today after much prep, and will start soon before the outside/inside temps rise. Cheers, and if so inclined, have a productive day, with beer of course, y’all!

    Good day advocates, I was drinking Tripel Karmeliet earlier, but it’s a bit self-indulgent to post three hours later.

    Anyway, we’ve followed the opening ceremony yesterday. Poor Paris got hammered and soaked in rain, but nice endeavors if I’m not going to be a Debbie Downer.

    Quite nice to have seen Lady Gaga and a moving Celine Dion offering a decent performance from the Tour Eiffel at the end. Alrighty all around.

    50th birthday party and laughs? Guess that implies the most famous one in this case “Happy half century!”.


    Happy birthday to your missus, this should be fun and play, too.
