I thought D10 was great. It was actually a bottle I was suppose to split onsite with @Luscious_Malfoy around the time of the CdF release, but it didn’t work out. I never understood the hate. I’m really looking forward to D19. Just wish we got more than a single 375.

I'm kinda curious to see how the BVC sale goes today. I don't think it'll be an insta-sellout or anything, but definitely curious to see how quick it goes.

Reconfirms what many of us have been thinking--they are sitting on a lot of beer.

Also teased a Library Tasting coming up. Tickets on sale on Friday.

If this was 4 years ago, people would be buying a dozen of these packages. Kind of blows my mind much the BA beer scene has changed just over the last few years.

Money is tight and beer is getting more expensive and people don’t want the sours. I hope these packages continue to sit and make them re evaluate their sales approach.

If they only include one spontaneous beer, how many of you are buying more packages?

I generally don't buy packages at all but the BVC package actually satisfies a lot of what I've been wanting. 24oz stout with "only" 36oz of sour. The sours are pretty mild/not acid bombs and they aren't $40 each. Overall cost is barely above $100. If packages are here to stay this is probably a best case for consumers

Meanwhile the D19 package was an easy pass. 12oz of stout and a raspberry pear sour. I actually like Merci and Blended but they've been in the shop for a while so I already have multiples of both.

I largely agree with this - I usually don't buy packages, and I actually bought the BVC package on top of the solo bottle with the same thinking (and I wanted an extra bottle of BVC). But the D19 package was an insta-nope.

I think if I was on site, I'd actually want to try CdC12, but I don't want a 750 of it.

If that were the case, I'd be buying the same amount of packages I'm currently buying: zero.

As someone who has never owned a bottle of Coconut Vibes, I would've ripped a hole in my pocket reaching so quickly for my wallet to pick up the Coconut Vibes package currently sitting available. These days, I view the extra bottle as an additional expense for me and logistical issue for my proxy that I don't want to put on either of us, especially for something I don't really want. This coming from someone who was a SP package stan in the past.
