I don’t think you are off at all. I definitely remember there being a period of time that I didn’t have treehouse for a bit during Brimfield to Monson. When I did get some again I remember almost being weirded out as the sorbet bubblegum thing you got from Green was much more intense(albeit soft) and a blend of melon and pineapple. It certainly could be palate change. But, it was beyond polarizing then and it did seem a little more refined and slightly less hop bite. Which I appreciate in TH beers now. However, let some of your cans of green sit a few weeks to a month or two and that element opens up a lot. Also, this recent batch of juice machine has that old school flavor to me. Just had one and was caught off guard how good it was.

A monorail put Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook, on the map!

Brewers Fork was going to be my suggestion. I wouldn't go to Armsby for just Hill Farmstead, especially since you'd be traveling in the opposite direction.

Hill Farmstead is in more bars than I can count in and around Boston now. You'll typically find multiple taps of HF at any decent craft beer-centric bar.

Brewers Fork is indeed the best tap list in the city. They don't post their tap list online, so I usually just check Untappd to see what people are checking in. But as @Piels25 said, the pizza is awesome, so it's a win-win.

I was there two weeks ago and they had HF Poetica, Conduct of Life, and Difference and Repetition. They also usually carry a few Fox Farm taps. Right now I also saw they have Fidens on tap. They typically have a couple taps I see no where else in the city.

Also, Olde Magouns is only a mile or two away, and they also have a great tap list and good pub grub. Great place to watch a game as well.

well my flight is delayed a couple hours now, so AA is out of the question.
I'll take the multiple recs for Brewers Fork.
    Thanks all

I got to visit the Woodstock CT location for the first time yesterday. Amazing experience on a Wednesday afternoon. Super laid back, able to hang out at the bar and shoot the breeze with the barkeeps Rich and Jay, who answered all of my questions. The rustic taproom in a old barn alongside a vintage cider press is beautiful as well as comfortable.

Between a bottle pour, a draft pour, and an off-menu taster pour from Jay, I got to try three different ciders. The two barrel aged farmhouse ciders (tawny port and orange bitters) were absolutely stellar. Bright, funky, vinous, and grassy alongside the aged Bloomsday from Cato Corner farm.

And the grounds are mind blowing. The entrance is a winding drive on a dirt road past the farm operations: grape vines, orchards, berries, vegetables, flowers, bee hives, chickens. And big lawns with chairs and tables for guests. All of it beautifully kept. Clearly a work of love.

I walked away with a couple of 4 pks of lager, a few bottles of cider, a chunk of cheese, and a pint of TH-grown cherry tomatoes.

A refreshing change from the crowds of Charlton and Tewksbury. By far my best TH experience yet. I just wish it wasn't a 1.5 hour drive each way for me to visit!

I don't know, but I'll add that there is a Woodstock version of Peacharine Pils too!

Nate answered the peacharine question on Instagram the other day.

Trail Peacharine is Trail dry hopped with Peacharine. Trail uses noble hops on the hot side . Peacharine Pils uses Peacharine throughout the process and at an appreciably higher rate. It also uses a different yeast and a different mash procedure and has a different water profile.

Trail Peacharine was unfuckwithable on the beach last the few weeks. Amazing beer. I said it in another post but I got to try it when they were doing can samples and had to buy cans.

I got a free Summer sticker (it was the actual can label) tossed into an order what has to be at least two years ago. I also thought it had switched to proper can a while ago, but I could be wrong.

So these beers were awesome, with the exception of Haze 10th, which had a real strong diacetyl thing going that was tough to get past. But the Greenest Green, Liquid King and JJJuliusss were some of the best Tree House I've had. Plus a friend gave me King Julius and a Very Hazy from that same beer run and they were outstanding.

I am finding that some of the core IPAs/DIPAs are tasting better with a few weeks on them. For example, KJ canned 6/20ish and Green canned 7/4 tasted better to me this weekend than a few weeks before.
