Wait, that's...cheaper than I paid straight from the brewery?

    I don't love that.

+$15 shipping and two dozen other beers that are overpriced.

The $70 12 oz. bottles of 2 year old Horus pastry stouts subsidized the low low Cherry VSOJ prices on Tavour.

I don’t remember Rev moving, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen either. [IMG]

A craft beer bar I was at in Helsinki last week had Deth's Tar 2023 available. I got a good laugh out of that.

As someone who doesn't care for coconut I'm pleased to hear that Coconut Deth is subdued, but this also feels like a YMMV situation.

I really don’t care for it either, but I tried one out of my season ticket 4-pack regardless. Thankfully subdued, but I definitely still taste it. Will probably give the rest away.

Was in town for Lolla and luckily had time to grab a 4-pack of VSOJ, never had it. Passed on Cherry. Didn't even know this was releasing til I saw some random FB post while I was there, so lucky me! Does anyone know when DBVSOJ drops? It's not yearly, correct?

What I’ve found over the years, is folks that don’t taste the coconut, are experiencing a well integrated adjunct that marries/accentuates the barrel character. What they seem to prefer is an experience where the adjunct is front and center stage.

If you’re ever doubting the coconut, let the beer come to room temp, or finish the beer and smell the empty glass. The coconut is typically very obvious by that point.

Yeah, this is exactly the case for me. If it's not exploding with coconut, miss me with it. I could taste the coconut in Coconut Deth, but it was more subtle than I wanted. I do also think doing a side-by-side with another DW beer can sometimes help you discern the more subtle elements of both beers.
