    Just a tip. Boccellas in Havertown has some Treehouse cans (Julius, Haze, Juice Project) as of last week.

    I just had lunch at Khyber this afternoon -- they definitely get my vote.

    I wasn't in the mood for a heavy stout today (and have tried it before), but for anyone curious... they have Half Acre Double Barrel Benthic on right now. Amazing beer.

    My vote would be Standard Tap for the combination of great food and a very good tap list.

    My personal choice would be Fermentery Form. If you like them sours... oh boy!

    I'll also second Jose Pistola. It was a great place to bring non-craft friends, as there was something for everyone (including a couple Russian River IPAs on tap).

    But I don't live anywhere near Philly. I just go once in a while to haul back as much Human Robot as I can.

    Nobody's said Other Half, which maybe is not a very Philly experience but they still make good IPAs.

    Somewhat orthogonal to the other very good answers above are Frankford Hall or Brauhaus Schmitz, which have been garden-y atmospheres and good varieties of German beer.

    I know it doesn’t get a ton of air time in the craft beer discussion, but Yards has their 30th annual party coming up on 11/1 and I love the theme… they’re “turning the clock back to 1994,” with some styles of that era, firkin tapping, music/games of that era, and most importantly “pricing of that time.” Will try to swing by.

    The trip was great! Went to a bunch of beer places, favorites were the usual suspects, though the wife loved apiece urban a ton. The flyers getting shut out couldn’t even ruin the weekend!
