Also wanted to hop on the Dread & Breakfast hype train. I grew out of coffee stouts, but this one is immaculate.

So, I recently made the trip to Rev to pick up the latest batch of VSOJ and generally speaking at home I store my beer by brewery. When I was looking at the other Rev stuff I had, I noticed that the older packaging specifically marketed VSO series as aged two years. I saw it on the last batch of VSOJ and VSOR. However, on the new packaging it is no longer marked anywhere as aged two years. Is this a change in marketing or was there a change in time spent in barrel? Made me wonder with this latest batch of VSOJ.

Wasn't it a blend of differing ages? Some 2, some more than 2?

    Edit:

Yea, I knew I saw it somewhere - read this description from rev:

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed by Coconut Deth b2 as well. I was a super fan of batch 1 of Coconut Deth, I wish that they would have stuck to the same recipe of batch one & I would have purchased almost a case worth of Coconut Deth this year just like the first year. I am glad that I stuck with my single 4 pack purchase of Coconut Deth this year. Not thrilled that is my opinion about that beer either... BUT what I will say is DAMN to this recent batch of VSOJ. It's pretty delicious this year.

Always interesting to see how people receive these. I actually really enjoy Coconut Deth this year and have been somewhat let down with this batch of VSOJ. SJ is essentially my favorite beer on the planet that is regularly produced and I have thought previous VSOJ's and DBVSOJ have been exceptional. This batch of VSOJ, while incredibly drinkable, feels somewhat one dimensional. Regardless, pretty awesome to the nit picking at just how world class variations of these brews are.

So this is another one of the variants that have been teased, a la Cherry VSOJ, yes? I see that it's a 19.2 oz can.

So very relevant to my interests. On & On Vol 3 was by far my favorite from last year. So, so good.

I didn't get my Part 3's from my proxy until much later than most. People seemed mostly underwhelmed by it on here, so when I got mine I was quick to try it. Thought it was fantastic. Happy to have a few more still, including one fridged for this weekend. Very excited for a VSO treatment on this one.

I wasn't really an On & On guy myself, but I also can't think of a VSO that's let me down, so...

I'm all in on the on and on part 3 train. Stoked for the VSO treatment.

Rev was pouring Supermassive Cafe Deth at the Oak Park Micro Brew review a few weeks back. Was fantastic!
