Hell Yea! I may have to splurge at Whole Foods, I Love scallops! And yours look great on that risotto. Ever try swordfish Milanese? I used to make it for the kids and myself. We love it.

That's one of my wife's favorite dishes- risotto and seared scallops. Look great. I love fresh DRY scallops. We know!

 

Back at our camp with a Fiddlehead Second Fiddle DIPA. Today was fantastic, it couldn't have been better.

 

Last one for the night...a classic in the glass. Saint Arnold Amber.

And, it is John Surman's 80th birthday today...so yeah going to spin some of his ECM albums. This is a duet album with the great Jack DeJohnette (who just turned 82 himself not a couple of weeks ago). Surman plays any number of reeds plus synthesizers. DeJohnette plays any number of percussion/drums/piano. This is a great album.

I’d have a better response if I drank the beer more often than every 1 or 2 years…but I do think you could be on to something…Just this evening I was drinking with one of my pals, and he had been back to Boston last month and a favorite IPA from his history was tasting Malty. Hops are expensive…Cheers buddy!

 

Another one of these and just maybe make some dinner.

Like @jmdrpi a few days ago, I’m enjoying Schilling’s Vorhe. It is delicious with a crusty bread element driving it but has pale botanical hops to temper. @zid must be in shambles! LOL jk

 

I think 60 Minute is almost perfectly balanced and loaded with hops for 6% but we all have our opinions. Cheers!

 

Now we're talking. First class brew right there. Worthy of a large drinking vessel.
