Thanks, we splurged tonight, we don’t get scallops that much because of the $20 to $25 bucks a pound around here.

New Belgium- Trippel - Great with the assorted cheeses I picked up today at Whole Foods. Seems a touch less sweet than last year or maybe not.

Thanks man!! I love that brick oven style pizza. I grew up in the NY Metro area so we ate this style all the time. This oven can get to 900 so you get that black spotted "carriage" plus that charred edge. I really like all that with light toppings and good dough. Believe it or not I'm not a fan of most of RI pizza. There is a few good places but the majority make the Greek pan style and load it up with pounds of cheese and toppings. I just prefer the prior. Like the New Haven style. Rudy's Pizza Closter NJ is what I grew up on. Still exists but they had to move.

Was Smart before Corky Laing? We saw Mountain at Brandis in ‘71, it was my first car date with my then to be wife. Hash, pot, wine, back seat. It was epic, but I digress, Laing was the drummer that night and Felix Pappalardi on bass.

An excellent HazyLite I got at the brewery Tuesday. I have a mini beer share set up for tomorrow at the pub; I’m participating in the National porch music thingy (I better string my Martin) on Saturday; then Beerbusters’ 2’nd Anniversary/beer share is Sunday…There is no rest for the wicked…Cheers y’all from balmy SW FL!
