As our Kutztown adventure continues, at Saucony Creek I have a 10oz Golden Bear Pre-prohibition lager brewed with a now defunct Philly brewery American Lager yeast, and Maple Mistress 5oz Imperial Amber Ale brewed with butter nut squash, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg & allspice. 9.5%

Got the latest Moderna Covid shot today, no adverse reactions to report at this time. I like this beer, I think it's pretty tasty.

Not the ideal double date for sure. My daughter got hers right after me so we went to lunch. She combined the flu and Covid shots but I only opted for the Covid one, I have an appointment for the flu shot next Thursday. I figured that if I had a reaction to the shot, I want to know which one it was so I get them separately. I don't know if it was just the lady who gave me the shot, but I will say that it hurt, it was a little beyond just a pin prick. Cheers!!

I’m sticking to low-ABV beers this afternoon—technically on the clock though I’m not expecting any more work today. Watching the first U.S. Open men’s semifinal now, rooting for Draper—I’m an underdog kind of guy by nature but I also just can’t get excited about watching Sinner play. He’s just predictably, consistently good but never very exciting or dynamic. Looking forward to the Tiafoe-Fritz match later. Cheers!
