Low key considering going back for more.

I just had Woodstock JM and it really put Charlton to shame. Honestly, with Woodstock seemingly having the cores always available to go, I have less and less desire to go to Charlton.

I have noticed recently, if you give Juice Machine a good week to 4 in the can before opening the true juicy fruit/fruit salad flavor just opens up and explodes in the glass as it always has. Try it

Haven’t tried any Woodstock beers yet. My next mission is to get out there before the end of the year. Being so close to charlton I’ll probably do both. Maybe I’ll even get core beers from each and do a comparison

Any intel on the current double IPA offerings? Very Green 10th Anniversary? Jjjuiceee Machine? Brighter Than Starlight? Emperor Julius? Anything else noteworthy?

I had the most recent batch from Charlton and it was really good, but was too singular note compared to Woodstock. With that being said, I will hold one back next time.

We do both and it is fairly easy to do (will be doing it again on Saturday). The draft variety is the primary reason I go to Charlton these days, but the side by side comparison is something I have been thinking about. Might try that this weekend.

Excited to finally check out Woodstock.

debating dragging mother and sister in law with me, who don’t drink. What are the non alcoholic options to consume onsite? Just seltzer or also cider and coffee?

    thanks!

So does anyone have any perspective on these new Nelson Many Ways Variants? I'm headed to Tewksbury over the weekend to grab some fours and they're on the list, just not sure if I really want to get more than one or two, even though I'm a massive Nelson fan...are they really that different?

@Jbrews Sorry for not hunting back through the thread - what's the lower ABV offering that you've been raving about in past few weeks?

I can vouch for the Eggers Hops variant being excellent!

I've bought the first 3. Haven't done a side by side. They've all been delicious, but I'm not sure i've noticed any identifiable difference. I suspect any difference is fairly esoteric and maybe really hard to discern.

Yeah, thanks, that’s kinda what I was thinking. Would love to do like a mixed four with one or two of each, will probably stick with getting a couple fours max, I mean it IS Nelson…(!)…

Trail Peacharine, House lager Peacharine, or Eureka Peacharine. Or, realistically any version of Eureka

Eureka citra really hits too. I thought it was going to be “boring” because it’s just citra but it is really good. I think the mosaic version is still my favorite, but the peacharine and citra are right up there. Those are the 3 versions I’ve had.

Apparently they're doing beer to go in Boston now. At the Pru? I haven't been down that way in ages but there's a spot they can just have cars cycle through? Cold room space? I guess I lack perspective here.

Looks like they have a small retail space there and one of the images shows to-go service out of the parking garage.

Then perhaps a permanent beer garden coming next year? It's Tree House's world and we're all just living in it

Damn this will have some impact on Trillium retail to an extent. I don’t live in Boston and haven’t since many moons of Mission Hill. But I can tell you if I did more of my allocated spend would go to treehouse if given the choice locally.

    Here's the announcement.

    https://www.instagram.com/p/C_3KFIIP7H5/

"You can pick up Tree House Beer To Go TODAY at the Prudential Center in Boston!

Tree House is proud to call New England home and even prouder to be a Massachusetts brand. With the same passion and optimism that fueled our start in 2011, we’re thrilled to establish a presence in Boston with a pop-up offering our products to go in the heart of the city at the Prudential Center.

This initiative will accompany a robust beer garden next year, with a few surprises in store. Beginning TODAY, you can grab our beer, coffee, and non-alcoholic drinks (distillery-based drinks soon) to go on the arcade level of the Pru and, for even greater convenience, directly into your car’s trunk in the parking garage’s free loop. Based on our trial runs, reaching the Tree House cooler from the Turnpike exit (and just a few seconds from Huntington Street) takes about a minute, the most convenient in-and-out experience in Boston!

Reflecting on our journey, we’re reminded of our strong bond with Boston. From the unforgettable Extreme and American Craft Beer Festivals to the memorable beer gardens, tap takeovers, and early beer dinners, you’ve supported us throughout our history.

As we look toward the future of great beverages and experiences in our capital city—the unofficial capital of New England—we carry forward the same energy and optimism for great beverages that inspired us to found Tree House in 2011.

We will be open on Friday and Saturday this week and expand our hours over the next several weeks.

Thank you for reading - we hope you enjoy a great weekend."

its a few seconds from Huntington Ave, btw. Not sure Huntington St exists in Boston.
