What beer are you drinking now? #77

That sucks. Does it seem just bad warm or infected?

 

I'm working my way through a six pack of Irresistible Amber from Madison River Brewing. So far, I'm finding it pretty resistible.

 

Had a Two Brothers Brown Fox earlier. Now sipping on this, found it hiding in the back of the fridge.

I'm sorry for your loss; it's truly the loss of a family member and I hope the good memories continue to bring more smiles outweighing the bad times bring sadness!!!

I'm unfamiliar with infected beer, but I have a hard time believing this is how it's supposed to taste...each sip is better than the next...I may pour this in the sink and eat some toothpaste.

FINALLY had myself some BCBS. My very first and it certainly didn't disappoint.

 

A bit sour/tart maybe some vinegar notes, thin body, metallic(overly spiced beers can have this as well)

I am getting some tartness...not sure I'd go so far as to call it sour...perhaps a hint of vinegar...mouthfeel is about what I expect for the style...most of the unpleasantness is concentrated at the back end and the aftertaste is relentlessly bad...hint of metallic taste in there actually...extremely unpleasant aftertaste for me...just completely offensive. It still tastes decent up front...but the lingering foul aftertaste is beginning to underpin it all...will give it another shot...but not this year.

It might be starting to turn or it just might not be something you would like. I am not a big fan of Black IPA's due to the clash of the roast and hops, a hoppy stout would be similar.

 

Now I'm on to a Brown Shugga.
Sad to see that I only have one more left.
