Just wrapped a long travel day getting into Tokyo. Got to my hotel in time for none of the local beer spots to be open. Grabbed this from the lobby to get something to kick back with.

 

The outstanding kellerbier at Rotburger, a German brewery in Pilisvörösvár, out in the Hungarian countryside. Glad I made a trip out here!

Still at Rotburger. The Oktoberfest isn’t quite as good as the kellerbier, but still perfectly cromulent. Also pictured: my half eaten bratwurst and sauerkraut which was awesome.

Worst beer I've had in a looong time - looks great for a drain pour.

Flavor – 2 – Primarily a mixture of nuts, raisins, chocolate, disturbingly sweet – needs some salt to balance the sweetness. No hops, no alcohol. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. No gastric warming. Leaves a nasty aftertaste of rancid nut oils.

 

Looks like a GREAT meal! Brats properly cooked with brown mustard can't be beat!
