Yeah, I don’t ride(I’d be dead quick and reckless as I was on dirt bikes) but I do completely understand given friends of mine who do or in mc clubs. I’ve been exposed to some horrible accident realities. So I do understand the consequences are worse. Realistically I was just going to post because I heard the ID’s being requested and someone being mad about it at the to go building. Since someone here had asked about the ID question. Then I hear the other stuff. I’d like to think the driver chose to not to. Either way, it was an epic almost summer day to get to swing by for a Cold Brew reload and tried Double Shot Pumpkin. My mother exposed me to roasted pumpkin seeds, pie, ice cream, etc as a kid in the 80’s and ever since I’ve always loved it. I can remember having flights of pumpkin beers way back in mid 2000’s at Sunset. Pumpkin was more fun before social medial and it became a trend/style vs a flavor and cool adjunct. Thanks Starbucks and Shipyard.

First taste of early Punkin Ale……..

    I’m assuming he’s good .

Just funny how hot and cold they can be with ID.

    Any thoughts on DDDaze?

I was pumped for it but am a little disappointed. JJJulius might be my favorite TH beer and I love GGGreem also.

Wasn't a fan. I mean it's Tree House so obviously it's solid but definitely underwhelming. I like Daze, too.

Maybe it was updated since you posted this, but it looks like it's been filled in through yesterday (10/1)?

Any feelings about Nomad vs. Nomad Oak? I am going to Deerfield this weekend, and want to grab anything roasty.

I prefer the Nomad Oak personally. After having both, I feel like the oak aging smooths it out with a little extra toast and caramel notes. Equally enjoyable for beer nerds and "all dark beer is Guinness" folks alike. Absolutely loved it last year and will be getting more this year.

Shot down tonight to re up coffee. Grabbed Curiosity 147. If you like Simcoe and Nelson. Just get this.

The initial burst of aroma is pungent, dirty white wine, white grape dusty yum. The palate will immediately notice the mouthfeel. A little more easy drinking(I don’t like using thin for TH) and just crisp. The flavor quickly gives away to rind, fruit punch essence and an amazing bitter smack that sits on your tongue and just goes. That Simcoe fleshy tropical flavor that’s hard to describe just smacks you. Gotta say, if you’re into trying something a little different and less chewy. This one’s for you.

planning a trip to Woodstock and Charlton in early December. Should I be concerned with woodstock closing for the winter season? I think they've done it in the past, but that was during the early stages of operation at that location.

Making my first trip in several months to Tree House (Sandwich) on Sunday. Any recommendations on newer releases?

Planning my trip to treehouse December 7th. My last visit to treehouse they were sold out of Julius and green and I was sorta bummed. I'm wondering if I'm setting myself up for disappointment by planning to go a week after Thanksgiving. I feel that's gonna be a huge sales time for them.
