After a long stretch in San Diego for work - and some great beers (The Pupil from Societe is a WORLD CLASS West Coast IPA that I would consider as my “desert island” beer), this iconic Octoberfest is hitting the spot. Absolutely love it.

 

No hate at all. I poured a Pumpking yesterday. Tis the season indeed.

Good Evening BAs! Spent the afternoon helping with mucking out my friend’s house…hot smelly work…home now in a change of clothes, drinking a cold Head Hunter on the balcony:



I’ve got my fan cranking (it’s 95° and quite humid). The work at my buddy’s house really drained me. Today we boxed about 40 cases of wine (he’s a wine rep and level 1 som) which are now in a climate controlled unit.

All of his furniture, electronics, shoes, clothes, everything is ruined. His roommate lost about 3k of DJ boards/mixers, etc., plus all his shoes, clothes, memorabilia, etc. So sad. Tomorrow we will likely finish the house, and start on the garage - 3 motorcycles, 2 bikes, and all his home brewing supplies. The surge flipped his washer and dryer upside down. Crazy.
