    Many thanks for the concerns from the great Advocates that frequent this forum! All is well in my little enclave 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. We are very fortunate to have water, power, internet, cell service, etc after not having for a handful of days. Many businesses and homes were destroyed by mother nature.
    Some of you likely don't know @Miles_in_beer_city but texted with him earlier - i believe he is just north of downtown and will not have water for weeks - fortunately he has family in emergency services and has been able to provide a generator, bottled water, etc for basics. But no shower in a week? That would be tough. He did find a brewery open in Asheville to dull some of the pain the other day. I know beer kept the boredom tampered for me after 5 1/2 days of no real internet.
    Anyway, good to be back at the VB. Been a week since i last posted. Just finished servicing the lawn and so these fine pilsners hit the spot. @tekstr1der the Schilling Session Pils was amazing! Hope you got to try it!

    I guess in Canada we get the German packaging in the 500ml cans. I always enjoy the extra swallow. :+1:

    Poured a 500ml can into a nonic. A two finger white head on a clear straw. The head diminishes to a layer. Lots of patchy lacing.
    Grainy malt smells.
    German malts up front. Very mild hop finish.
    Light body. Medium carbonation.
    A decent Festbier.

    Someone posed the question, how many babies will be born in 9 months. I told them they better hurry before the lack of showers brings that activity to an end.

    We are probably a long way from internet, but cell service is getting better every day. Running off my phone setup as a hotspot, and working very well today.

    I went through a similar experience a few years ago, it was traumatic, but we survived and now completely forgot about it. Good luck going forward!
