I literally went for coffee, Festbier and lights out Wednesday.

Eggers was absolutely epic. I’d say the best.

Yeah, how I miss the days of single can Trillium and TH

they couldn’t of picked a better weekend to do this event. absolutely perfect weather! was able to try BBT, Quintet and Threads of Time on draft and grab two bottles of TreeSide.

glad I was able to try Quintet on draft, really solid stout but will probably end up trading my bottle away. I think Threads of Time is my favorite of the 3 I tried on draft.

That’s ok, I was at my little one’s 8am soccer game followed by us all enjoying a mountain hike today. Sometimes life doesn’t align. Wish we could’ve gone. Even just for the coffee offerings alone

    I’ve tried 3 of the varieties. Roughly…

    99 Eggers
    98 Freestyle
    94 Clayton

Freestyle was at Prudential. Guy at register expressed surprise he also had Eggers, which is not showing online. Had Eggers at Tewksbury last week.

In Boston at Tip Tap Room. Tripping Animals & Other Half gets it done for this STLer.

I was there Friday and Sunday and saw/heard of no samples poured at all. 20 bottles available at the upstairs to-go counter for each session.

The New England woods are filled with these old stone walls from the times when a lot of the land was clear cut for farming.

Yes, typically used to divide tracts of farmland in the spirit of "clear boundaries make good neighbors" way of thinking. Surveyors often use these old stone walls when retracing property lines for current day surveys.

I had Sherman the other night....and the beer gave me goosebumps. Sherman was called up to the plate and it didn't disappoint. Sherman came to play, and play he did. It was clear, hoppy, piney, etc...just bitter enough, smooooooth....I'd pick it up again. I also had Autumn, and that was fantastic as well. Stellar beers.

This is great to hear, because Sequoia was a major disappointment to me in my opinion. It was a sweet mess, with nowhere near enough bitterness, and the pine flavors they advertised succumbing to the Nelson that they decided to put in for some reason known only to Nate. I'm making a trip next week and you've put Sherman back on the list of possibilities.

I wish for once they would just stop messing around and make a straight-up bitter-bomb of a WCIPA. That's what I'd hoped for when I saw Sequoia released.
