Glad to hear only 7 hours of lost power and minimal damage Love the “vintage” Marshall Zhukov bottle. We visited Cigar City in January and i have 1 16 oz can left, not quite as sexy as your vessel but just as tasty all the same!
Last i had read there are still 90,000 folks without power in Western NC, two weeks after Helene. The terrain here presents a bit of a problem for utilities and restoration. I am on Asheville Water but fortunately the plant is about 6-7 miles from my house in Mills River, which is actually in Henderson County, not Buncombe where the two main Asheville plants are, and were shredded. Those folks will not have water for the foreseeable future unfortunately! For us, we are still boiling drinking water but fortunate to have all other utilities sans the up and down AT&T fiber.

Hope everyone is having a fine Saturday. Beautiful day here in WNC with temps in the low 70’s, Spent a chunk of the day in Greenville, SC at the Zoo as Da Boss needed to get out of the house as we have been respectfully staying out of the way of all the activity in our area.
Anyway, i picked up the Double Barrel (Bourbon and Scotch) Westbrook 7th Anniversary a year ago where it has aged mostly in a closet. Had this at a tasting as well about a year ago and came across hot. Today it has mellowed and is a much better sipper, would rate it about a 4.2.
