Oh man,that sucks.ive heard every version of what supposedly removes the stench,hopefully you were successful.

My ode to Wormtown .. really the city in general as opposed to the brewery. Wormtown has always had a happening underground music scene. I've been fortunate to be part of it since the mid sixties.

 

Just not feeling like a 2nd new beer today. Enjoying this that I picked up Wednesday.

After two wineries, I have found beer one again!.
Log Yard Brewing Company, Bradford Pa doing a sampler.
Spruce Bedspring, IPA with black birch oil tea. Different.
Not what I was envisioning.
Polka, Polka, Polka Lager, pretty good.
Patio de Troncos Mexican style lager. Solid.
Tiny Wood Pecker American Pale Ale. My least favorite of the bunch. It has a bit of an off kilter taste I'm not a fan of.
Overall though, the beers are pretty good.

 

Happy Saturday, BA! Long day..spent the first half helping a buddy pull down a bunch of sheetrock and insulation, then the second half letting the kids run around while we watched some netflix with our friends. finally home now watching some hockey with a fine Jersey beer: Twin Elephant True Believers

Back home with a Civil Life Brown Ale. This is among my favorite brown ales. Lots of chocolate and a touch of caramel.


Another new song by The Cure. Not as good as “Alone”.

 

Brisket stuck of course. First time with a Central Waters beer we picked up during our trip to Mount Rushmore. So good….

 

Really enjoying these Pigeon Head Brewery Pilsners. Crisp, clear, clean. Like the description.

It was a mess and I wasn't home lol. Mrs DavetotheB handled the bulk of it with baking soda and dish soap followed up by odor control dog shampoo. It worked well except for his mouth. He must have taken it right in the mouth because his breath smelled like skunk for almost a week.

And the beer's cold here and usually removes stress. At worst it's a diversion from the stress. Hope the weekend and next week are better. Cheers!
