I just hope I don't check out until I get a chance to vote in the "Weirdest Thread of 2024" poll.

Administered in a timely fashion, there are some AAls out there that could make one skip the medically assisted death. Holy crap.

Troegs Perpetual. I'll hopefully have time to update review. Then again, maybe I should avoid Perpetual from now on.......

Eh, I'll keep it simple. Fresh Pilsner Urquell in a krug. Maybe even the unfiltered version from the barrel.

Keesmann Herren Pils. They typically only serve it in 1/2L glasses, but I know for a fact that they also fill growlers. I'd drink straight from the growler if need be.

My opinion, and a well considered one lately, is people have the right to self terminate that surpasses the desires (not rights) of others for us not to self-terminate.

If I chose that route, this is the beer I would love to drink as my last

I’d probably opt for whatever beer Jesus had before he was resurrected.

On this note, I've had that beer (it was lovely), but I wasn't clear on which Gulden Draak beer it was an barrel aged version, I had hoped it was the standard GD, but it seems like it was the 9K, was it the 9K?

That would have been wine, at the last Passover he celebrated with his disciples. Some historians have speculated that it might have been an Amarone-style wine, considering the climate and terroir of the region. No historians have speculated that it was Manischewitz or Mogen David.

It was the GD Classic, not the 9K.

I do like the @beergoot approach though. In that case I would chug a Miller High Life

This is also assuming there is a glass of Hop Fu waiting at the pearly gates…

Would have actually been soured wine. The last thing he drank was when the Romans offered him a sponge soaked in water and vinegar to slake his thirst.

Hmmm, torn on this one. Part of me says I am with @beergoot, go with a regular ber, for me it might be Stella, however my gut says go with several Zombie Dusts, you know a little poison in each one, make it last a while
Then again, I would like a big barley wine

Amen. I've been an advocate for medical self-termination for the terminally ill for a long time, but I rarely bring it up, as it's such a taboo subject. But with informed consent--the cessation of suffering is sometimes the more moral choice to make.
