@beergoot ironically enough Da Boss and i just chatted with our daughter in PHX earlier today and she mentioned her chihuahua Bernie had the same number of teeth pulled recently. She adopted him about 4 years ago and while going thru this process the vet mentioned he had others pulled prior to her adoption. Bernie has a loud annoying bark that is definitely worse than his bite LOL! Hope the "Big O" is better soon!

Me, happy to hear of a Fremont drop in WNC just before Helene hit. Stopped in at my old local in Hendersonville and was able to pick up this lovely Oatmeal Stout.

This is a beautiful looking, clear pouring golden color. There's a 1 finger white head that has great head retention. I really like the clingy, sticky looking lacing on the glass.
Aroma - The aroma is malty in nature. I get a buttery biscuit aroma. I also get a floral honey-like note to the nose.
Taste - The flavor is delicious! This beer is a malty beer. I get hit of cereal to start it off. This beer turns to buttery biscuit. The finish has a honey-like flavor and a great floral element to it.
Body is smooth, bubbly, and very full for the ABV.
Damn! I can just imagine how this would drink on a hot summer day. Delicious, and so easy to drink, even aged longer than intended.

This beer is has a darker golden hue to it, and it's clear looking. There's a nice 1 1/2 finger white head to this beer that is pretty long lasting. There's great lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The aroma hit me while pouring - coffee. Up close is a nice rich roasted coffee aroma. I do get some slight sweetness in the aroma as well as some hints of cereal.
Taste - The flavor is a good cereal grain up front. The beer turns quickly to coffee. The coffee starts off a bit sweet almost. It turns to a rich roasted flavor in the finish.
Lighter clean body. Smooth.
This is quite delicious. Great flavor to this beer.

Another Märzen. Although Founder’s Oktoberfest märzen is remarkably similar to SN’s Festbier…..I give a slight edge to SN because of that kickin’ malt profile. Cheers!!
