Yeah, I meant in NY, but it looks like they have a small brewhouse at Domino Park now.

Hey! We were there too, 2:00-5:00. Had a flight, the chicha was not what I had expected, the…

Any chance that’s you in the background? HA!

Ha, yes, I'm sitting at the left side of the bar. I can see my wife's mustard sweater through your beer glass. My black hat is just visible over the top of the glass. Cheers!

All three of us missed it. Just by different distances.

    Couple-a items:

    1) Bandstand Brew Works in Warrensburg is now open. Will probably take a trip up there in the next month or so to check it out.

    2) Two Farms Brewing opened up in Bloomingburg (bit outside Middletown) recently -- looks like a pretty quaint, scenic spot that would be a great visit this time of year.

    3) Castle Brewing is in the works to be inside Storybrook Hollow, a castle-looking event space in Cairo. No definite timeline there.

An old article, with a date that has passed. Still some hope they may be open now, from their Facebook and Website pages.

Has anyone been near the Tree House construction site in Saratoga Springs who can comment on how it’s progressing?

Drove by last week, they've got a fence up around the perimeter so vantage point ain't great but progressing very well. If I was just guessing by what I can see I'd imagine they could be up and running early next year.

That gives everyone several months to figure out how to order at both Fidens and TH I’m one day.

Once again: I am so good at this.

Tentatively they'll be open for to-go orders only by December and the taproom itself up and running by February.

    Random smattering of things:

    1) Did check out Bandstand Brew Works and was really impressed. It'd be a GREAT spot in the summer because they have huge garage doors behind the back of the bar so you'll get that indoor-outdoor vibe. Beers I had I really dug: coffee/chocolate stout is a banger at like 5.5%, the NEIPA was super bright and well-balanced, festbier very drinkable. I didn't like the blood orange farmhouse but I also generally really dislike the fruiting of non-sour beers so take it for what it's worth. Big food menu too, but I didn't eat.

    2) Stopped at Ferdle Turtle in Schuylerville which I just heard about like two days ago. Tiny taproom and only four things on but the dark lager was a HIT and the cascade IPA was pretty perfect too. The owner/brewer was great to talk to, came from Singlecut and his whole vibe is gonna be beers in the 5-6% range and I absolutely love that. Schuylerville now with a really great tandem in Bound By Fate and Ferdle Turtle.

    3) Talea with another taproom opening (this is no. 4 I think?) and this one's in Manhattan. Looks stunning, as they all do.

    4) Place called Kessler Brewing (recently?) opened up in Mayfield (Lake Sacandaga area) and I know nothing about it beyond that but I'll check it out soon I'm sure.

That’s what was posted on the Treehouse news FB group and they tend to be very on top of shit.

Lotta NY news lately, love to see it:

    1) New spot called Kessler Brewing opened recently in Mayfield on Great Sacandaga. No social media or articles could find so IDK what they’re about but it’s in what looks like a historic old building and seems (based on pictures) to be very much a town gathering spot kind of vibe.

    2) New spot called Mountain King Brewing opening in Windham. Got a lodge type of vibe and their debut can is a blonde ale so seems a kind of similar bent to Kessler. This should be open by the end of the year.

    3) Farmcraft Brewing just opened in Strykerville (half hour South East East) outta Buffalo. Got kind of a mid-century modern barn thing going on? Not sure when I’d ever be in that area really but if anyone checks it out let us know!

    Also:

    - Lower Lake Brewing coming to Hamilton NY. Insta says Fall 2004 opening but they're also doing a Kickstarter so... don't think they're hitting that target date. More when I've got it.
