Same here. I can solo dome the 17% over a few hours. The 22% is a bit much if you aren't sharing it. I haven't even opened those new Wendigo's since the ABV was too high. That's the last i'll say so that I don't turn it into an Anchorage post, LOL

 

If there was good reason for a beer to be expensive, it would be fine. But, most of the high priced feels like price gauging to come closer to secondary. Certainly makes me want to buy more whiskey and less beer.

Snagged a solo and a package. What a great day! Also, anchorage just posted that all three ADWTD box sets will be available on Tavour this Friday. What a terrible week for our wallets lol.

 

Ugh.

 

Those box sets were $220 at the brewery during release. Wouldn't be surprised if Tavour ends up charging $250. I can get two more BBT packages at that rate, and a whole lot more volume for my money. As much as I enjoy ADWTD, that's gonna be a hard pass.

 

I had a sneaky feeling that they'd do that! I don't think they sold out at the brewery as quickly as expected. I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks for the tip

 

3 bottles I assume?

 

three bottles, a wood box, and a glass. Anchorage's instagram had the original release details, except for the price

 

$285.

Single bottles of the triple oaked were $75 and singles of the quad oaked were $85 so the box looks to be $50.

How much were the BBT packages?

 

$120 for BBT 24 & Continuance b6. Both 750 ml.

 

And BBT is $60, making Cont also $60.
