    That Cafe Deth deserves better.

Worst case, it will find a good home. Whatever my preferences, I would never disrespect a Deep Wood beer by letting it go to waste.

Guess I'll break the seal on the X-Force stovepipe. It'll compete well within the category, but it's not for me. Super boozy Hawaiian Punch.

Cafe Deth is most excellent this year for those that love it.

Season Ticket Glass = hefty boy. Don't drop it...it probably won't break, but it may break your toe.

I'm not a glass nerd but damn, this fucker is cool. Great idea for a perk.

Cage was bigger coffee yesterday on draft than the can I opener tonight, but both were great.

High n’ Tired was the highlight yesterday for me. Deth Mounds was really tasty also.

Honestly think Deth and Cafe Deth were the standouts of the weekend. Not fair to say the variants weren't a disappointment but Deth and Cafe were just that good.

how did cafe compare to the most recent supermassive. Supermassive was probably my favorite Rev stout to date and I’m debating getting more while it’s still available

If you don’t mind it losing a bit of its coffee punch, Supermassive is still great, despite still being $40/4-pack
Cafè Deth is fresh coffee up front, and adding to its praise outstanding this year

    [IMG] Honestly...not too shabby!

I've never been a fan of Revolution's IPA game and I rarely drink hazebois these days, so my expectations were low.

I'm pleasantly surprised; it's not too sweet like most hazies and not too...tangy(?) like most Rev IPAs; it's balanced with a through-line of grapefruit & lemon. The 10% abv is well hidden.

If this was fresher than, say, Zombie Ice or Torpedo, I wouldn't hesitate to grab this stovepipe in a pinch. Glad Rev gave Deep Wood hedz a chance to try it!

EDIT: Better straight from the can than poured in a glass, IMHO.

I'm in no way saying this is a bad price for what it is, or relative to all the great prices that Rev has. That said, I'm glad that this doesn't interest me.

It's on its way out starting last week and into these week. We have a lot of distributors who get their pick-ups on different days, then same with the retailers they service, but the wheels are in motion.
If anyone thinks this one isn't for them, I recommend convincing a friend to give you an ounce of their draft pour. It's as good as any nonadjunct variant I ever recall having.

I have no doubt it is amazing, and I’d love to try it if there was anyone nearby for me to share with. The reason I say this is simply that I haven’t met a wine-BA stout or barleywine that I like, nor have I found a BA stout or BW with fruit that I like. It says nothing about Rev, or GI, or SP, or any other brewery. It is totally about my palate, and a me-problem. That said, I’d never turn down the opportunity to try it if the opportunity presented itself.

I don't think there's any wine used at all her..it's just the special wood is also used in the French wine industry. I believe the wood used here is "virgin".

I may be wrong, as usual.

If I mis-read the description (entirely possible), then I may choose to splurge for this.
