Great list — thanks for the Hi-Res reminder! Been a while but a great one.

Permanent Funeral fucking rips. Looking forward to the release this year and will be hunting it down. I just enjoyed Slapasaurus but that's a lot sweeter and easier drinking compared to most of the 3Floyds DIPAs.

Bell’s Hopslam this evening — surprisingly clean / bitter despite the “brewed with honey” direction, which could overtake. Still, amazing to wonder how it would come across with zero messing around with sweetness at all.

The sugar from the honey should be fermented out, so no residual sweetness in a normal fermentation -- maybe some flavor from the other components of the honey similar to mead depending on how much honey was used. Now if the honey was added after ferment and before pasturization . . . .[/QUOTE]

A couple of days ago I purchased my third six-pack of Fat Head IBUsive IPA. Needless to say but a third purchase means I really like this dry, bitter IPA.

Sometime in the near future I will thoroughly discuss this beer in a NBW thread.

    Cheers to IBUsive!!! :beers:

After some time traveling, despite many diverse NEIPA experiences, returning home one thought prevailed: Resin, Resin, Resin.

    Exceptional, still!

At long last, a sympathetic shop secured Permanent Funeral for pick up — excellent, excellent, excellent. Thanks to Three Floyds for staying true to an absolute winner.

Just had Avery Maharaja and it may do it for ya, coming in at 10% and very dank. Also try Sweetwaters Gone Trippin, just 7% but pretty dry and moderate bitterness.

Was able to score a couple cans of Pacific Dawn DIPA, Captain Lawrence. Hits the perfect abv/ibu balance which kicked off this thread. Excellent!
