    Having covid is unfortunate, but I'm assuming by your activities here that you still retain an ability to taste. My one official bout of covid, I was lucky to retain that. I think losing that would really freak me out.

    Arvon Double Jurassic Haze DIPA (Vic Secret, Citra, El Dorado). It's quality haze, but not to the level I expected. Passionfruit, yellow grapefruit flesh and peel, orange Smarties, orange peel, pineapple tidbits, black pepper, hop spice. Solid stuff.

    I feel like death, but no loss of taste, thankfully - from any of my three confirmed cases. That said, my palate is super wrecked, between the congestion and the medications. Not that I should be drinking too much right now, anyway, so that all works out.

    I know of a guy who got Covid back in 2020 and, to this day, still has no sense of taste. That would be maddening, I would have to think.

    Damn, should have voted for Pliny as a write in, oh well, maybe next election...
    Picked up a few things at the Oskar Blues Brevard location yesterday and currently enjoying a better-than-expected BA American Barleywine canned in late 2023.
    Listening to TP's Buried Treasure show on SXM, dude just cracks me up with his commentary. Chrissie Hynde was pretty awesome back in the day, the video is pretty goofy...

    Damn, I should've wrote Pliny in. He's a very reliable candidate that can appeal to both side of the aisle due to his hoppy personality. He gets things done for the good of the people :smile:

    Just got back from a fantastic birthday weekend trip to NYC. I haven't been there in more than 20 years, and that absence was a mistake. What a great trip!

    Anyway, back home now with a very good red ale from the Costco German 24 pack.
