3pp today & almost sold out for the day. Said limits will probably get smaller as the week goes on

 

The draft and on-site menu is bonkers.

 

It's a good day to need a really, really big drink.

Brewery tapped BHC and Continuance 5.

And CWH Parfait is on at the Patio.

 

Seems like a lot of the early reviews for the Cellar Tenth Anniversary barleywine are saying it's very sweet but also very good. Anyone try it and care to give their impressions?

How are they doing the to-go bottles? Not a whole lot of room in the cellar?

Yes, I too felt it was sweet, but good.

 

Their post from Tuesday said to-go bottles are being sold outside in a tent until around 6:00 each day and then moved to behind the bar after that. Look back to forum post #2004 for a screenshot

 

Big tent in the parking lot next to cellar patio, tables and chairs inside tent as well. It was a great call on their part. Several porta potties in the lot as well.

Really, really hoping the togo stout has a 1 or 2pp limit today.

 

Why are you hoping for that?

 

The Barleywine was no limit and I got the sense that they sold through it faster than they thought they would.

I have little doubt that many attendees today will buy the stout by the case if allowed, leaving little chance for those who work during the day.

That makes sense. I assume they would only go no limit if there was enough to last a few days. Having it be more than 1pp let me call in a favor and have a local get me a bottle of the barleywine yesterday. Hopefully they find a way to get a bottle to all of us

 

All will be right with the world if they send an email to the LC's letting them know they can buy some starting Tuesday next week.
