I've always thought of rye beers as being especially fitting for the season. Also, dunkelweizens and weizenbocks.

The beer style I enjoy drinking this time of year are Pumpkin Ales. They just seem to fit with the Thanksgiving season.

    Cheers’

Hadn't thought about rye beers. I usually think about Munich Dunkel, but also drink Dunkel anytime of year. There just seems to be more available locally starting in the mid to late fall.

Good point. I always seem to see a lot of them in August & Sept. now. Some before Oktoberfest beers hit the shelves.

I purchased my Pumpkin beers a couple of months ago and placed them in the cellar for November drinking

    Cheers!
