I reckon the golf course is still open - that's a big draw to the taproom as well and help keeps them packed out.

 

Golf likely has no impact at all on the crowd there 2 and a half hours after sunset.

Haze on draft is incredible!!! Dare I say their best beer. Need to bring back growler fills!!!

Went to Tewksbury tonight with a couple of friends. Laughter, pizza and beer is a winning trifecta. First time having King Fern, Milky Haze Mango, and Nelson All Ways. All solid but Nelson All Ways was the stand-out as mentioned already a few times.

 

King Fern might be my new beer of the year from these guys. Surprised no one has really said much.

As mentioned above, Nelson All Ways was also really good.

 

Is it just me or is that pizza HUGE?

 

They make a good size pizza, but I believe the angle of the pic amplifies the actual size a bit.

 

Visiting charlton and Woodstock first weekend of December. I saw in a recent YouTube that Nate mentioned the winter lodge at charlton being setup? Any tips for a good on site experience this time of year? Will be visiting with wife and 2 kids. I’ve only ever been to Deerfield a few times (and the old little OG little spot once).

 

You’ll be just fine almost any day. However obviously Saturdays may present lines for pours. Try to go any weeknight and you’ll have a good portion of the winter lodge and tap room to yourself. It’s worth going at night in December. They do a great job decorating.

 

I’ve really only been a big fan of the new-ish New Zealand focused IPA’s Tree House has done lately , but I need to add on to the consensus that this is must buy. Well rounded straight forward Tree House goodness. No Peacharine

 

They sold out at Tewksbury smh.

I really don't want to drive to Boston during a holiday week.

 

Just a heads up,it looks like Curiosity 10 is back in stock in Tewksbury... until I buy them out tomorrow (kidding...or am I). That beer is really great.

Yeah, it really was that fng good. Grabbed more last Friday.

 

Had some friends over from out of state who wanted Treehouse so I ran over and grabbed haze, green, julius and curiosity 10 based on this thread


Green was good, but didn't taste like how I remember it being. Wasn't very soft and bubblegummy. Could just be junk galaxy


Haze was good, but again didn't taste like I remember. More of a bite than I remember, and the bottom of the can had some harshness/hop burn. Makes me miss growlers

Julius was very good and will get that again, which is surprising since of all the core beers it was always my least favorite. I'd take green and haze over it anyday.

Curiosity 10 was great



All in all everything WAS really good and if it wasn't for my own maybe shit memory I'd be very happy with everything I bought. They're definitely better than anything else I can get in Boston right now, except for maybe Fiddlehead (and Alchemist doesn't count because I can never find it)

 

I went to Charlton last year and it was a mob scene. Huge!! So much beyond what I first encountered behind a cow barn.
I really am not that impressed by Treehouse beers. I think there are better IPA's out there.
I went back to Worcester to visit Bay State, and though the brew pub was a big disappointment and nothing I like was on tap, I still really like Becky likes the Smell and OK Karen.

 

Hi wondering what the line to pick up cans has been like so far this week at Charlton, like if I went up today or early tomorrow AM would it be insane there? Thanks!

 

I just got back. No lines for anything when I got there, around 1:30. Today will probably remain chill. Tomorrow is the big "holiday travel day", and more will have the day off, so I'd expect it to be busier, but maybe not insane until later in the afternoon.
