will check today when I pick up. Online menu suggests they have not

 

I picked up yesterday and the only Benthic in the fridge was '23 Reg.

 

The bartender when I was there a week ago wasn't sure if they were breaking up the boxes.

 

Still just 12 pack boxes (though not in the cooler either)

 

GREAT time at HA on Friday for lunch! (yesterday)
Benthic Boxes still available, but no 2024 cans available by themselves. They did have 2023 Benthic 2pks along with 2pks of Catch Hell and Orin, and bunch more of their non-BA beers (see their website for listing).
Great to hang for 2 hrs then head to Revolution for their latest BA beer release - nice day in the city.

 

The Blackberry crumble Benthic draft reviews are quite strong and I wouldn’t have guessed that from the description

 

Blackberry Crumble was quite good. Really nailed the crumble part of the flavor.

For non-Benthic notes, Vaporwave, Drip Castle, and Ridge Trees are great beers.

 

Vaporwave was awesome. I got such a pronounced peach ring flavor.

 

Half Acre seems to be the fairly uncommon long-time brewery that is getting better every year.

 

Turtle Benthic! Holy Hell. You totally taste The caramel covered milk chocolate with sea salt and nuts; Half Acre really nailed that "turtle" candy flavor. It's so apparent & distinct that you can't miss it.

 

This seems a bit rich coming from the guy routinely soloing 19.2 oz of barrel aged stout

Exactly! It's true no denying that fact. And....that's why my username is 4DAloveofSTOUT. I chose my username wisely.

 

I think it was a pretty impressive beer, honestly. I didn't like the flavor, but they nailed the flavor they were going for.

 

This was my thought as well- also nailed the taste of Margie’s/Fannie May fresh candy. Barrel was not really in the mix, but a stellar experimental success.

 

It’s like posting that water is wet.
