VT BA Meet-up/Tasting

So Steve's on-board for hosting the Winter VT Meet-Up at Drop-In Brewing in Middlebury any weekend in Jan., either Sat. or Sun. I missed the Jan. one last year - wasn't it on a Sat.? So am picking Saturday, Jan. 12th. Start at noon; end at 4pm or so. Bring food to share, or you can hit up the deli right next door if you don't feel like potlucking. IP trades welcome, but please set them up in the Trade Forum to keep this from getting deleted. No charge - just bring bottles to share. Drop-In's beers will be on tap as well. Will post this on the events page today and then add the link once it's approved. See you there, and thanks for your patience.

I submitted this last Thurs. to the events list, and have gotten no approval after they said the host's website address was incorrect (the one that automatically fills in when you enter the name of the venue!) Double-checked against the website - was correct. Sent an email to the mods - no response. Someone else want to flag this for me so it gets their attention? Still on for Sat. the 12th at noon at Drop-In in Middlebury.

Bummer, Frank!! I will be heading over to Bobcat for dinner after if anyone else is interested - although I believe Mark is out-of-town this weekend.

 

I know it's not quite as great as many of the beers we bring to these, but I'm pretty sure I've got 06.06.06-10.10.10, and I'm sure we could get 11.11.11. and 12.12.12. easily enough - any interest in trying that?

should we discuss what various styles or specific beers folks are thinking about bringing? or just leave it all as a surprise?

 

I'm cleaning out some well-aged imp stouts, barrel & otherwise, with some chocolate to pair. Not cooking anything, though.

 

Like usual, I will bring some bizzare stuff for the tickers. Maybe even a decent sour or two. Easy munchies.
