Until a couple of years ago, none of them (BCBS) ever penetrated the tundra on which I live, so I suppose I ought to be thankful for what the pack toads haul in.

Final impression and summation: 3.75 Kind of a mess – ginger comes and goes, coconut comes and goes, bourbon and barrels are totally hidden… One and done - $21 wasted.

Canned 10/4/24. Poured at 51°. Boozy bourbon and chocolate; this year’s more boozy than chocolate? Still delish!

The die is cast…another Deth’s Tar (2022), stovepipe:



Canned 9/29/22. Poured at 56°. Boozy bourbon, but more chocolate and the feel is thicker/more viscous than the 2024; same mouth warmth (14.8%)…I had to compare to see if I was mistaken…and to share with my BA Brethren …onward science!

I doubt I’ll get much done this afternoon, other than a BBA Imperial Stout induced nap…life is good. Cheers y’all!
