List hasn’t been up to date for a couple weeks. Go and be surprised!

 

I thought the same damn thing after posting!

 

Here’s the list as of Monday

 

Ah shit, that probably was us. I chatted a little with Woody inside then we grabbed a barrel to stand at and try to be out of the since we weren’t staying long. I think I only had a T shirt on or maybe a flannel with no coat and was cold af if that helps identify. If ever in doubt please come say hi. Em and I are very easy to talk to and always welcoming. We bounced quick to go do some shopping and not clog the place up. I was driving anyways so couldn’t have much and we can pop over anytime for more. If we stayed any longer I’d eventually get caught up in old coworker and friends showing up and we’d never leave lol. My offer also always stands if ever I meet a BA out drinks on me. You ladies and gents are the best. Even when we bicker

 

Well, that was you. Next time, I’ll say hello and we’ll drink beer (and probably talk about beer).

 

Wii’s IG account reveals bottles of “The End”. Hope they’re ready for purchase today!

 

Next time you stop by Tributary, try the Rye Lager. It’s REALLY GOOD. Woody shared some with us before it was packaged. Wow! You won’t be disappointed.

 

It is fantastic! But today, we tried the XPA. Absolutely fantastic at 5.4%

 

Now back to CBC talk

 

We just went to CBC tonight. Got home a few minutes ago. Quite busy, tables full, the to-go beer cooler getting hit hard.

For a business about to close, the service, food and beer quality were exceptional. Mrs. Stormfield was happy, and we were both feeling nostalgic. Glad to see that they are still running the business incredibly well even though the end is near.

I looked over at the bar at one point and saw Tim Adams and his wife having a drink and a bite to eat. CBC gets respect.

 

A number of vintage offerings on tap today: 2019 Blunderbuss, 2020 Darkside of the Compass imperial porter,and Learning to Fly winter gruit.

And the final(?) brew “Pack Up the Circus”, a hoppy golden lager, is tasting great

 

Planning on going to CBC on Sunday 08DEC.... if anyone goes between now and then can you please post a pic of their current tap list..? Much obliged!!

What happens to any unconsumed beer at closing time on Dec. 20th? I don’t expect an answer to this, but I’m curious.

 

I was assuming the remaining kegs would get distributed to their draft accounts and any bottles would go to their liquor store accounts. But I haven't heard anything one way or another. (Personally, I'm hoping something fun will pop up on draft at the Brattle Theater. In the past they have offered CBC barrel aged beers.)

If anyone is looking for something specific, there are still a number of CBC bottles for sale at Pemberton Market, including a few that are sold out at the brewery.

 

I’m here now and they just put on Blunderbuss Grand Orange (with blood orange) if anyone’s interested.

 

It was also an extended aged version to start, spent 5 years in bourbon barrels. I just saw the description pop up from CBC online, sounds amazing
