I'm not sure it's diacetyl but it’s definitely off. Too sweet, carbonation is pretty low.

It sucks because I was so excited to try it.

Whole Cone Seedling, on the other hand... chef's kiss

Treehouse be filling cans to the brim, and then some. We had two cans shoot beer out after opening and the level was literally overflowing. I can’t imagine this is intentional? It gives that weird like almost no noise opening. Not the normal more hollow crack as you pull it.[IMG]

For everyone in that camp who’s loving recent batches lights on, curiosity 10, alter ego - Dddaze also brings some of that classic treehouse character too.

I can’t friggin believe I missed this post. Sorry I didn’t acknowledge you in mine. Our cans defiantly looked bulging and we also noticed they were sticky and had what seemed to be some residual dark beer on them. The first can we opened gushed a little as well and tasted interesting. Second can shout out beer similar, taste a little better but still overflowing. Em purchased these and figured why not email TH and let them know. They refunded her no questions and it was in her same day. Their customer service is beyond top notch. She also grabbed 2 winter hats and two tekus(one replacement) and gifted me the ********* one. Given she isn’t as deep BA as me it made her whole day they even heard out he questions on a $20 stout.

I fired TH an email, and the brew team has been "adjusting fill heights a bit in an attempt to get our total packaged oxygen as low as possible."

I wish Hill Farmstead filled their cans like that. I swear you're only getting 15 ounces.

Awesome. Every brewery should be doing the same.

Not sure many breweries have ever even considered the idea. The standard is to flush out oxygen with CO2.

Looks like I missed out on Very SSSappyyy in Tewksbury, hasn't been available for days. Must only be a little bit left. Looks like the taproom there is closed on Thursday btw..

Yeah a lot of people I know were like wtf with the random closed day. Or better question. What company paid $$$$ and rented it out? A few folks I know were planning to go that day.

Was more concerned with Ems nice cream colored sweater it got on. She wasn’t thrilled.

Oooh yikes. And for the record that “F yo what tee” was a hypothetical quote coming from treehouse to the populous. And the “dial it back champs” was me telling treehouse to dial it back on the can fills. All jokes aside it’s good you emailed them. It looks like they pushed it a little too far in the trials. Gotta give it up to them for the CQI tho.

The second I started this one I didn’t think Nate would be pleased at the end and the treehouse beer was the antithesis of widely available. Glad he called it out at the end and seemed a bit put off. Seemed a genuine reaction.

I was a little surprised he didn't question it when he saw/sipped it. I'm a stout junkie and I would have immediately been suspicious that it was something that was 'widely available' once I drank it.

Personally, I would have taken out BCBS and Truth (obviously) and replaced them with BA Ted Fidy and BA Narwhal. They seem to fit the qualifications of that the experiment set out to do a little better. Good video, though. Figured he would have picked up the coffee in KBS, but I definitely get what he's saying when he mentioned possible lactose. I've been suspicious that Founders puts lactose in it for some time now, given how it tends to upset my stomach

Yeah he seemed fairly pissed there in one moment. Sounds like he'll be having a word with this Dan person.

    Oh, he wouldn’t dare.

He has Michael to beat the shit out of Dan and do the dirty work. C’mon now….Nate needs to remain wholesome.
