Installing new drywall? Such fun! I like mudding. There’s nothing like making a heinous looking wall look smooth again with a careful hand applying enough layers and feathering.

Just got done renovating someones kitchen and we applied and sanded joint compound/spackle / fast set for about 4 fuckin days .


Drywall fucking sucks!

i completely understand getting that perfect surface.

from my perspective it's doing it for someone else and not at home and they wanted to use their existing layout and not get some new framing .
It was like a fun house working on that warped wood.

As a former Chicagoan I'll never give up my teams cards cuz that's how we roll. Even if it's misguided! We've endured some of the worst ownership in sports history. As for the Bears? The clown car is about to reach it's destination so new clowns can get in. I need to remember to send the matriarch of the mess her 102nd birthday card.

I patronize the teams here to get my sports fix but don't have a serious rooting interest. Ball Arena for Nuggets games is a good time. Cheers!

That’s the fun…fixing the most whack-ass undulations and blems! Mortar…I could stand more experience with concrete work. I have a back porch slab having a conniption with a second year of wide temp swings causing various cracks and failures. ack. I’m too old for all the 1950s home repairs needed.

On to more beer. One more before I need a break to have a good pre-employment physical. Why I even need one is beyond me, causing me grief and anger, as I’m a desk jockey. It’s been a horrible three months. I just need to make it another couple weeks.

i had to add a skylight to the shower and the roofers did such a shit job and being in that attic thats prolly 105° really tested my patience. i almost considered a desk job!
