1) Drekker Truly, Madly, Deeply (8.2% canned 11/4/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Simcoe Cryo, Citra Cryo, Citra and HBC 586 for flavors of grapefruit, passionfruit, pineapple, tropical mango/melon.
versus
1) Drekker Metaphase (8.2% canned 11/18/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Citra & Nelson Sauvin for flavors of lemon and orange citrus, green citrus and juicy pine. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Drekker NEIPA Battle. First is Truly, Madly, Deeply. Some nice Citra, Simcoe and HBC 586 for flavors of passionfruit, green melon, guava, and lime. Really a fantastic NEIPA.
Next is Drekker Metaphase. Citra and Nelson. One of their best NEIPAs. Grapefruit, white grape, sweet berries. Citra, plus dynamic Nelson flavors. Doesn't hold back.
I'm becoming more and more impressed with Drekker's IPA game lately.
Winner: Drekker Metaphase

Drinking a Cerebral hazy with mosaic & strata. Clear with cool sunshine at 64 degrees .

 

My first beer from my first shipment from Beer Drop would've been more reassuring if it hadn't been canned 10 months ago.

Pretty mediocre stuff, even when making account for its age.

Arbeiter Nacht Rider (4.9%): A Schwarzbier from Minnesota with flavors of dark chocolate, dark grains, yeast, with a light espresso roast. Smooth, clean and balanced.

First try at this Schwarzbier from Arbeiter. These guys are slowly producing some of the best lagers in Minnesota. First with their German Pilsner winning Gold at GABF, I was excited to try this. Dark cocoa, grains. earthy, yeasty, and roasted. Balanced, yet smooth. Complex. Hits every aspect. I might start picking up every lager I see from these guys. This is an up and coming brewery in Minnesota that people are going to start waking up to if they haven't already.

 

It's 3 mile walk, $2 drafts Tuesday here. Started out with the tasty Southern Tier Mokah and transitioned into Three Floyds Gumballhead after that. Cheers!

 

Still have some O'Fest beers hanging around. Because I enjoy them.

@ATL6245 - this is another favorite of mine. Duane's solo is so melodic and appropos for the tune starting round 1:40. You could sing his solo if you wanted, none of this shredding BS that's so ubiquitous these days. So tasty ...
