    Good Morning BAs! It’s chilly this early am in SW FL, so I’m warming up with a Guinness Foriegn Extra Stout:

    Poured at 52° and drinking roasty fine.

    Another 40s/50s rainy day on tap…too far south to get any of the snow seen yesterday in northern Florida. Cheers and have a wonderful Wednesday y’all!

    This is Parallel Twin, a coconut porter by Paper Scissors Rock Brewing Co. from the tiny town of Halls Gap in the Grampians mountain range in western Victoria.

    It was bloody delicious, too!

    A triple Florida thread open, as rare as Florida snow. I'm beyond stir-crazy, so headed out later today for the first time since Friday. Pulled this one from the cellar.

    Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Bramble Rye Stout (2018)

    Full Cellar Review treatment linked here. WBAYDN treatment, bourbon flavor has flown the coup, but all other aspects held up well to great, much better than expected for this cellar beer 17 months past "best by" status.

    Good day BAs! Thanks @DoctorZombies for opening the bar - mind if I come in - it's chilly outside (-10F/-21C) like yesterday. I don't mind the low temps when the sun shines (like yesterday).

    Cleaning out Beer Reefer #1 in preparation for Barleywine and Stout BIF #2.

    Walked back from the gym just now and it is gusty cold…coffee please! Prairie Artisan Ales’ “Espresso Marty”, a BBA Imperial Stout with Mexican Coffee Beans, Vanilla, and Espresso Syrup added:

    Bottled 6/31/23. Poured at 50°. #properglassware courtesy of @Ocalafox . Coffee and green bell pepper nose. Taste is chocolate and coffee syrup. No Bourbon. No Vanilla. At least the sweetness has backed down a bit. Coffee notes are starting to turn vegetable. Still, enjoyable.

    Currently, the outside temp is 44° with driving light rain. The wind gusts are 17 mph with a feels like of 28°. I know it’s much colder everywhere else, and I don’t envy your Wednesday weather today.

    I have errands to run, but starting my day with a warming 15.2% impy stout suggests a different direction. We’ll see…Cheers and stay warm y’all!

    Agreed. I, too, only picked up a few OG this year. It’s still one of my favorites, and the 2022 was the best, imo, in recent memory. Cheers!

    I'm back with a Winter Lager that is a Bock. I wasn't kind in my review but it lacked dating. This was canned December 2nd and is pleasing. Kudos to fresh beers, eh?
