Awesome, other than a little cruise in March for our 28th anniversary, April and May should be open for me to travel where I like. Yourself, @mickyge and @Roguer are all in that NE area, it will be a great trip to meet up with a few BA's!! I'll DM as it gets closer...cheers!!

I would love the opportunity to join this group if my family life allows. I have mentioned a few times about a massive New England meet up. The key is a weekend date that works for most people. Some will win and a few will lose. As we get some numbers after a chosen date, others may consider traveling. The venue would be the other enticing element. Seriously we need to do this. No chance 7/11/, 7/12, 7/18, or 7/19 for me. Make this happen in 2025 and blow it up in 2026 30 years after the Bros launched it in New England I believe.

Happy Hump day. I finished Command and Control by Eric Schlosser and is 5/5. It's basically the same as the atomic bomb book by Richard Rhodes but with way more thermonuclear era cold war dark politics and criticality accidents, and leads up to the 2010s in history. I love nuclear physics. Then I started What the Dog Saw: And Other Adventures by Malcolm Gladwell and it's my favorite book from him yet. It mainly deals with explaining the world through other people's eyes who are experts in niche areas. Like the Dog Whisperer and Ron Popeil (aka Ronco TV pitchman).

We went to dinner at Chipotle with a Gift card I got from Christmas. They were all out of rice, but I got Carnitas Tacos and a Carnitas Burrito bowl with pinto beans and hot sauce. I was full after the tacos, so I have the bowl for munchies later. The queso is thick, might be the best I've had at a chain restaurant.


Modelo Chelada Sandia Picante. Overall awesome. poor head retention and reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers with fruit/spice floaties. Aromas of big watermelon juice/pulp; with light red chili pepper, grain, and herbal hops. Taste of fresh watermelon juice/pulp, grain; light red chili pepper, salt, herbal, grass. Light herbal bitterness, fruit tang/tartness, and pepper spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light body. Balanced grainy malt, sticky spice, and fruit acidity in the mouthfeel. Crisp, clean, refreshing, nearly bone dry finish. Mild lingering acid/salinity, and a bit of increasing pepper heat after the finish. Perfectly clean lager flavors. Amazing showcase of fruit all around with mellow spice/salt. Perfect summer beer. 4.12/5
