Great IPA for a snowy afternoon

Good afternoon everyone. Drinking another bottle of carbonated water, uhhh I mean Peroni Nastro Azzuro. Seriously though, if it weren’t for the slight buzz I’m feeling here on an empty stomach you would have a hard time convincing me that this is beer. A lot different than what I remember drinking some years back.

That sounds like a great savings! Having lived in Western States my entire life I’m unfamiliar with the whole vehicle inspection thing. Only two counties here out of seventeen require smog, so I’m off the hook for that as well.

It’s a thirst quencher for sure. Nothing really wrong with it, just totally flavorless. It says best by August 2025 so I assume that means it was made in August of 2024?

 

Double NN is quite a unique brew to me as I delve in further. Has attributes of a few different styles to me including Barleywine, Belgian Dubbel, DIPA, and of course Amber Ale. It's sweet with a candied sugar nature and some fruit, but it does dry and bitter slightly enough to keep out of cloying territory. Crosses lines and challenges the beer senses. Nicely done, Troegs
