I though I had Hop Bullet dialed in. Culver City TW&M said in stock on line and I was in El Segundo today so short hop to get there. I do not see it on the shelf or in new beer release area so I walk back to the front and asked the manager and he looks on his computer and confirms yep we got it. Says let me show you were it it is. So we walked the beer area together....Managers says nope we don't have it. So I ask a stupid question..why does the website say in stock. Managers answer is I don't know.

I've been bitten more than once by their website saying a beer was in stock only to find out it's not after I drive there to buy it. Sucks ...

 

Sierra Nevada mix pack time, Torpedo style. As a long-time Torpedo fanboy, I’m so happy, I could cry.

This variant is appropriately named - very resiny and dank, with an earthy, herbal quality that is inviting, both on the nose and especially on the taste, which is chronically dank (pun intended). Absolutely love it.

Wow. 2 Hop Bullet Magnum's in one night. They gotta be old? I still have some in the cellar beer- fridge. They seem to hold up pretty well, mine gotta be going on a year old. I save them for when I go out for a pizza ( cf. PA BYOB laws). Perfect thing whole waiting for the pie.

 

A few littlenecks this afternoon B4 dinner . Fresh Union Jack is very good straight from the can, I really like this WCIPA. (Hard to find fresh)

Drekker Fruity Pebble Cheesecake Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 6.4% ABV. Pours ruby-red, with a half-finger pink head that left puree residue. Aroma is fruit mashup, cheesecake, ice-cream, and granola. Taste follows, moderately sweet, equally tart. Smooth mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Watching excitement three houses down, dozens of cop cars, city, county, state, and federal surrounding a house for hours, roads blocked off. Helicopter was here for a while, and they have two armored vehicles. And news crews. This has been a long time coming, at least four times previously I've seen a half dozen cops rush there.
