What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4503

Good morning everyone, late breakfast of salmon,stir fried vegetables, potato pancake and a sunbeam pils

 

G'day all!

I've had this for almost 6 years. The can was wonky as it felt so soft to the touch.

The beer itself reminds of the first Utopias I had in 2006. No foam, huge malty, fig, caramel, Port like aromas. Taste is really sweet but not overly, Port, fig, raisins, stone fruit, caramel, big Bourbon, some of that "good" oxidation. Mouthfeel is full with no carbonation to distract me. Boozy but for the abv, I find it easyish drinking.

Cassian Sunset, an Imperial Stout from Central Waters, aged in Bourbon Barrels with Coffee, Vanilla Beans, and Cinnamon.

Actually pretty toasty out by the grills, getting in shape for polar vortex this week.
