For those who like Indie music, and my wife's NOT a fan of this guy, worth a listen....



And I'm still here.....

 

I was in the mood for something dark. This hits the spot, although I think it's a little heavy on the black patent roast in the finish.
Out of Pittsburgh, Pa 5.8% alc.
Overall it's about a 4.

It's nice to get out the axe, crank up the volume on the amp and jam with a good beer.
Until my Isaac's Syndrome tells me to stop, that is, which unfortunately isn't very long. Hands & arms start cramping up real bad. Really sux.
At least I can drink beer.

Grilling at my dad's tonight. His grill is only a couple months old though. First grill I've ever used that has electronics in it...Cheers!

 

Had this Brevnov 11° Czech Pilsner at Bold Monk earlier this evening. I love beers like this. It's what craft beer is all about. It a light to medium bodied Pilsner with bready malt and hops notes of lemongrass and spices. Just a hint of bitterness. Nice clean, dry finish. A refreshing, flavorful, lighter beer with a 4.1% ABV. That's darn near perfect. Excellent effort from Bold Monk.

P.S. - Had the annoying kids at the brewery experience tonight. My birthday is tomorrow and my wife and I took our two adult kids to dinner at the brewery. Two couples a couple of tables over had their four kids. Three of them were loud, running around the tables and then beating on the empty bar stools. My two children looked at us and said "dad, if that were us, you would have snatched a knot long before now." Yep. Sure would have.

Does anyone know how to add a picture to a new beer?
I can't get the picture down to size, and I used two different apps to attempt to size it properly.
No dice.
Either too big of a file or the size is wrong.
I'm trying using my phone, so maybe that has something to do with it? It's the only computer I own.
I think I got it to work once, but that was probably drunken shit luck.

 

My son won and now we are trying Firestone Walker's 2025 Collective Choice. As alway, great beer!

 

You might need to reduce the quality from 100% to 80%
