Founders Breakfast Stout (8.3%): An Oatmeal Stout from Michigan with flavors of rich chocolate, dark coffee roast. cocoa, and cinnamon oatmeal.

One of the best winter stouts out there. Last year I was a bit down on this after they dumbed down the label. Last year also seemed like it had an excessive amount of coffee roast.
This year (besides the label) I think this is back to its normal form. Chocolate, coffee, oatmeal with hints of cinnamon. Let's keep working on the label, but the beer itself is back.

Pizza Port Winter Cabin seasonal, on the back porch , a beautiful sunny day . Started looking at taxes today, not looking good so far.

 

This was my first time there, only went because a friend told me about the ESB on tap. I am hopeful the word does not get out here like it did there!

 

Nice tune, really gets your blood pumping!!

I had this when it first came out, but remember it being much more dry and bitter from the oak. This one seems smoother and a touch sweeter. Ton of vanilla and coconut on the finish. Very good!

Thanks! Ha...They got a 3rd shipment in this week after I cleared them out twice. They're learning.

Unfortunately it appears to be just me fighting the good fight solo.

I've also been rotating up the old June boxes that they keep piling the new ones on top of for some other sucka to buy. They're still there.

 

Well, he kicked my ass all night at dominoes, so I had to be "winning" at something haha.

Quick trip back to Texas for work, this was a favorite of mine when we lived here 8 years ago, and it still is.
